Hey Everybody! Glue -in Weave tips that work!!!!

Hey Ya'll ! How was your weekend?
Over the weekend I did a seminar and one of the main questions I was asked over and over again was about weaves especially glue in weaves. Some people may not agree with me but I am gonna tell you guys what worked for me. I realize glue-in weaves although are the most dangerous when it comes to preserving our hair is also the most economical for most people. Particularly because glue is so cheap and easy to come by. But I really hate this as a stylist because so many people dont have hair any more b/c of the "convience" of glue. Since you guys are gonna use it anyway, I have a tip that I personally use and my hair is growing out just fine;
First, shampoo your hair @ least twice with a moisturizing shampoo and deep condition with a moisturizing, penetrating deep conditioner for at least 15-20 minutes. After rinsing the hair thouroughly and spraying in a leave in conditioner ( Carol's Daughter has an excellent one), you will then need a hard gel that once dry will not damage your hair suchas Hard Head by Bed Head Products. I suggest smoothing the hair back and leaving the hair around your edges out so that you wont thin your edges and also give your style a more natural look. Now, the second most important step besides the shampooing, condtioning and gel is the importance of sitting under a hood dryer and drying your hair THOROUGHLY. This is important for a few reasons:
1. This seals in your very important conditioner, leaving your hair in a healthy state while it put away under your weave.
2. The hair needs to be hard so that when the tracks of hair are applied, the glue will stick to the gel more so than the hair.
3.The hair will be all-around more protected

The main thing I like about this way is that my hair is still growing underneath and the glue is not choking my hair to death. Jus t remeber to wear your style no longer than 2 1/2 weeks and never snatch the tracks out! No matter how loose they are use bond remover- always!

Good Luck Ladies! and God Bless ya'll until next time!!!!!
